We are very excited to welcome Sue Ford who will be joining us in September 2025. Sue has a wide experience of teaching both in the UK and various locations abroad. Dates for this course are 7 - 14 September 2025
She is a professional member of the Society of Artists (SAA)
She has had several articles published both for the SAA and Leisure Painter
She has also exhibited at many locations including the Society of Women Painters and the Marine Society, at the Mall Galleries in London.
During her painting holidays, Sue’s aim is to ensure that all her students benefit – regardless of their experience. The idea is to create a solid foundation of artistic techniques whilst developing their own style in a relaxed and comfortable learning environment.
During each day of these art holidays Sue guides every student gently through each of the painting stages; often with an initial demonstration to get everyone started and to build confidence. These painting demonstrations are followed by patient, professional tuition throughout the holiday so that all paintings created by each student will inspire them to move forward with confidence in their own artistic direction.

have been on several of Sue’s courses and holidays. She is a very experienced and patient tutor and a good artist who gives freely of her knowledge and time and is always encouraging and helpful. Her courses are most enjoyable and I would recommend them to all artists whether they are beginners or more experienced. They usually comprise of a mix of ages, sexes and abilities and Sue makes sure that she spends time with everyone so they feel comfortable and confident.
